At our Liverpool Martial Arts Clubs, the MERSEY BUDO JU JITSU ACADEMY
and the LIVERPOOL AIKIDO CLUB, our training sessions are geared towards learning self defence but always, first and foremost, with health and safety in mind.
Our training sessions are held at the Cardinal Heenan Sports Centre in Honeysgreen Lane, every Monday and Wednesday evening 7.30pm until 9pm.
Warm up and warm down stretching exercises, syllabus techniques, weapons, kata, and fitness training, will form part of every training session, including groundwork and sparring, time permitting.
*Except Bank Holidays and occasional school events, please check prior to attending.

Our Liverpool Martial Arts clubs will always welcome anyone who wishes to give us a try and are happy for people to drop by. It may however be more helpful to you, to make any enquiries with the Head Coach in the first instance, to establish it is the martial art you wish to try and ensure that the training session is taking place on an evening you may wish to attend.

Then a licence to train will be required, which includes membership and insurance at a fee of £25 for the first year and £23 per year thereafter for renewal. The purchase of a gi will be necessary and depending on size and quality, the cost can vary but usually starts at around £16.
