BBF NATIONAL COURSE
SATURDAY 25TH APRIL 2026
This year's BBF National Course will be held at Padiham Town Hall. Open to all BBF coaches and students to try each of the
master class martial arts sessions conducted by a high ranking Sensei.
BBF SAFEGUARDING COURSES
All BBF coaches are required to attend any Safeguarding course, as part of their coaching qualification. Courses will be conducted by a qualified Safeguarding & Mental Health Lead.
BBF COACHING COURSE JUNE 2026

The BBF Coaching Course will be held at the Kara-Jutsu Bushido Academy dojo in Padiham and conducted by Sensei Sedgwick and Sensei Houfe. Open to new assistant coaches and all existing coaches to renew their qualification.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID COURSE
WEDNESDAY 27TH MAY 2026
This year's Emergency First Aid course will be
held at the MBJJA/LAC dojo. To be delivered
by EDUK8 Partnership and open to all MBJJA
& LAC members, family and friends.
SELF DEFENCE SESSIONS/COURSES
GROUPS, SCHOOLS, BUSINESSES
Self Defence sessions and courses have been held for several local groups. More sessions are planned and more are available on request.
SELF DEFENCE 'TASTER' SESSIONS &
SHORT COURSES AVAILABLE
One off 'Taster' sessions and short courses are available on
request for any of the Liverpool Universities, any local group
or business.
BLACK BELT & DAN GRADINGS
All Dan gradings will take place at the BBF dojo, Padiham. The examiners' panel will be headed by 10th Dan Sensei Sedgewick. The mat master will be 6th Dan Sensei Mcmanniman.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL
MARTIAL ARTS COURSES
This course is a great opportunity to try other styles of
martial arts conducted by high ranking instructors.
